VIP DAY AT THE RACES
at Clinton Raceway on Aug. 23, 2026

This Contest is sponsored by the Bill Galvin Racing Alliance (BGRA) in cooperation with Clinton Raceway.
Prize:
50 winners will receive a VIP Day at the Races Package For 2 at Clinton Raceway on Sunday, August 23rd, 2026. This package includes:
A chance to win up to $1,000
$25 in betting vouchers and lunch in a VIP area for VIP and their guest
VIP access to some behind the scenes tours and activities
Eligibility:
Open to legal residents of Ontario who are 18 years of age and over at time of entry.
Entrant must be able to get to Clinton Raceway on August 23, 2026. Travel expenses are not included in the prize package.
No purchase necessary to enter.
One entry per person.
Members of the immediate households of directors and employees of the Bill Galvin Racing Alliance, Clinton Raceway, Ontario Racing, AGCO and Standardbred Canada, are not eligible for this contest.
How to Enter:
· Complete a ballot, either electronically or on paper, at the BGRA Virtual Reality Driving Experience booth or complete the on-line ballot on the BGRA website.
Contest Period:
Ballots must be submitted by 11:59 PM EST on July 31, 2026.
Winners Selection:
50 VIPs will be selected on August 4, 2026. Each VIP will be allowed to bring one guest with them into the VIP area.
VIPs will be contacted via email, phone or text within 48 hours of the draw.
If a VIP does not respond within 48 hours, a new winner may be selected.
Contest Rules:
Contest officials will select one of the races on August 23, as the contest race.
In the VIP area, there will be ballot boxes set out, the equivalent of one for each horse entered in the contest race. Each VIP may put their ballot in whichever ballot box they wish. One ballot will be drawn from each box to match a VIP with each horse in the race. Each VIP whose name is drawn must be present at the time of the draw or another ballot will be selected.
If a horse is scratched after being matched with a VIP, the person assigned to that horse will no longer participate in the contest but will be awarded a $50 HPI betting card.
The VIPs that were selected will be escorted as a group to the finish line to cheer their horses on. The VIP must be present at the finish of the race to win their prize or all horses and the VIPs matched to them will advance in position.
In the event of a dead heat, the prize money for those positions will be added together and divided evenly between the VIPs connected to those horses.
Provided they are present at the finish of the race, VIPs matched with the first, second, third, fourth and fifth place horses will receive $1,000 / $500 / $240 / $160 / $100 respectively.
General Rules:
a) Prize must be accepted as awarded and is non-transferable.
b) Entrants agree to abide by the Official Contest Rules and Regulations and the decisions of the directors of the BGRA are final.
c) Any injuries, losses or damages of any kind caused by the prize or from participating in this contest are not the responsibility of the BGRA or Clinton Raceway.
d) Any entrant who at any time violates the official rules of the contest will be disqualified immediately and without notice. The BGRA can disqualify participants if they do anything to undermine the contest by cheating, hacking, deception, or any other unfair practices. All disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or connected with the contest, or any prizes awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action.
e) By entering, participants agree to the use of their name and photo for promotional purposes.
f) The BGRA directors have final say over all rules and eligibility requirements and reserve the right to make changes or completely cancel the contest as may be required.
